Water Shortage
There is currently a global water shortage. Almost 800 million people in the world can’t access to clean water. The reason why there is a water shortage is because of droughts and water pollution. Africa is a hot continent, so most of the water there has evaporated due to the climate change. Some water sources are being polluted because of industry. Dumping industrial waste into water sources cause the water to be polluted, and it takes a long time to remove the pollutants. Thus, access to clean water is difficult for 1.3 billion people!
The water crisis can be prevented if we stop dumping trash and industrial waste into rivers, lakes, and oceans. Only 2% of the world’s water is clean water. We should use clean water wisely or else we will face water shortage in the future. After ten years, many countries will face water shortages as well. The only way to prevent water shortages is to not waste clean water. Water is precious to us, so we have to cherish it! “The water project” is an organization that helps people around the world who can’t access to clean water. By donating money to “The water project”, we can save many peoples’ live!
