What else has been on the surface of the ocean, other than the clean and clear water? The answer is the result of people like us, throwing the plastic to the ocean and letting it spread around, and in the end, it is not an ocean anymore, it turns into the trash basket of the world’s used plastic. Is this what we want? Do we want an ocean filled with plastics and no any clear water for us to play, to chill and relax with the atmosphere anymore?
The answer is NO, and we all know about that. But the problem is no one cares to think and try to solve this problem.
While we wanted to change our world, we forgot what we did with the trash in our hands. We forget to find a better place to throw in our trash and throw it into the ocean instead. Since the ocean is getting so much garbage, you may think that ‘Oh, this is a place where people throw their trash, so, it is okay for me to throw it too!
This is how us, as students and people think, right? We always thinking about what the majority of people do is always the right thing. When everyone does it, why don’t we? But sometimes, it is better to choose our own path and have to be independent. Show them, show the majority that what they did is wrong, we can shoutout on internet or do anything that they can change peoples’ minds. It is not wrong to think different, so don’t be afraid to be different, because it can lead us to make our world a better place.
Moreover, there is many article shows how the ocean pollution has caused by chemicals of the plastic. This is scary since if the chemicals of the plastic is that powerful that it can caused the ocean pollution, then what would it be in the future? Will the chemicals of the plastic take over the world like the movie wall-E? I think it might be possible if we help change it right now.
