Going Thirsty For Real

There are three major reasons that causes the water shortage. Pollution we made because of agriculture overload; the explosion of population growth; and the most importantly, global warming. Because pesticides and fertilizers we used on agriculture goes into rivers and oceans, ruining it. Agriculture uses 70% of the world’s accessible freshwater, but 60% of it is wasted due to leaky irrigation systems. That's what we should improve and should spend money on. And in recent years, the explosion of population growth became one of the reasons too. In the past 50 years, the population has doubled! More and more people have to share less and less resources we have. And most of the water is in the hands of the rich, not the poor. So what I think is most important is to start spreading the awareness around the world and let everybody know how urgent we need to solve this problem. Let's take action and save the world!!!
