#Malnutrition

In Africa, it is really hard to find a nine year old who is taller than the average nine year old kid worldwide. You won’t think this is a huge problem, but because of malnutrition, it affects the kids’ heights and their brain development. During the 1960s, hunger and malnutrition in Africa has rapidly increased. Today, 208 million people are living in hunger. Most of them are in the undeveloped countries.
There are severe hunger and malnutrition in regions of Africa such as Sahel. Kids often eat dried beans for lunch. Dried beans have low nutrients, but by eating that kids can get full easily. Their teachers in school often lie to the kids that they are cooking dinner, but actually they’re just waiting for the kids to fall asleep. Sleeping without having dinner causes kids to have low nutrients in their body.
Today, about 3 billion people out there are struggling with their lives just by living with $2 per day, trying to feed themselves and to feel full. For $2, we can do so much, such as buying a lottery ticket, buying new toys, buying snacks… or even spending it at useless places when $2 is like everything for them.
Every year, there are about 15 million children dying because of malnutrition and a child dies every 3.6 seconds. Malnutrition plays a big role in our world today and it is also the reason of more than half of the children that died all over the world.

Save the world, Save the kids. #MALNUTRITION
