Water covers much of the Earth. About 71% of Earth’s water is in oceans and only and very little of it is fresh water. Only 23% of the freshwater on Earth is useable. We humans are wasting too much fresh water and it will run out soon if we don’t do something to try to stop it.
In my opinion, we can stop water shortages. It is something that we all can do. But only one person can’t do it. People are using too much water each day. For example, people use water to shower all the time. They should know when to turn off the water after they put soap their body and turn it on again when they want to wash it off. Also, when we use water for planting we have to calculate on how much water we will give to each of our plants so that we will not waste too much. People can also reuse the water that is used before such as the water that we used to clean our car or house. We can also used to wash the floor or water plants with it. These are some ways you can help to stop water shortages. There are still so many ways that u can help to stop it. You just have to do it or all of the water will run out.
