Colombia Drug Trading
Why do people need drugs?! Why do drugs even exist in the world? Yes, I know it cures pain; yes, I know it treats sickness. But what's the use when people take drugs for the effect of illusion which provides “FAKE” happiness. I don't get it. With addiction, crime rates increase, money flow becomes increasingly corrupted, wealth gaps widen, and teenage minds become infected. Because of drug use, there ARE drug organizations who illegally trade widely ranged types of drugs from continent to continent. Since the 1970’s, Colombia has been a most violent and developed illegal drug trading organization, honored, and largest multinational cocaine empire”. They are just insane… Furthermore, high-tech and well designed submarine were built just to ship the drugs secretly to other countries such as the United State, but it was finally discovered by the National Police of Colombia. Guess who designed the submarine….? The two leading technology engineering country in the world, Russia and the United States. Both countries offered well trained engineers to craft and design the submarines. And they might not even care who they’re designing them for, as long as they are getting paid. And the amount paid to the engineer is just a small fraction to the billions of dollars the drug dealers made. And the worst of worst is that people still buy those drugs! Recalling back to the history, during the mid- 1970s, drug dealers even carried marijuana inside suitcases to the U.S., and the price difference is raised $1,500/kilo to $50,000/kilo. A 34-fold…. Pathetic. Now, people, we, still complain about the rich getting richer while the poor is getting poorer. This will only continue if drugs are still being sold and used illegally.
Now let’s take a look at Columbian today… After the destruction that both Cali and Medellin caused, the cocaine business has broken into pieces. Younger generations that are in the business of cocaine have figured out that large organizations had been more vulnerable to be attacked by the US and Colombian government authorities. As a result, many of them break into smaller and more controllable groups, and each of the groups have their own role within the cocaine trade. For example, one group will focus on smuggling the drug from Columbia to Mexico. Other groups will be in charge of the jungle drug lab, transportation links, and protecting the lab. The group that mainly protects the jungle lab is the Columbian Marxists guerilla. The guerillas are a small group that takes part in irregular fighting. In this case, the fighting takes place in the jungle. In exchange for protection, the guerillas gain a large amount of taxes that traffickers pay to the organizations. With the well known link between the guerillas and the small groups that deal in the cocaine business, the guerillas are able to earn huge amount of profits.
According to The DEA and the Colombian National police, it is being said that there are more than 300 active drug smuggling organizations in Colombia today. Until now, they are still having a huge amount of profit by shipping to every industrialized nation in the world. The drug dealing rate still exponentially increases, and therefore, and it is only us who can stop this trend.
