Global Warming

Global warming is now the most concerning global issue in the world now. Global warming is caused by greenhouse gases being emitted into the atmosphere, causing the planet to warm up. Global warming causes a big chain reaction: the warming of the Earth causes the ice from south and north pole to melt and causes the sea level to rise, causes the climate to change and become hotter. Climates and extreme weather causes the rate of species extinction increase rapidly due to their inability to adapt to such sudden changes.

The main cause of Global Warming is the emission of carbon dioxide gas are from the combustion of fossil fuel. People get energy from burning fossil fuel, causing the increase of greenhouse gasses. We need to start to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases being emitted before its too late.

As you can see, the top two 2 emitters, which is China and U.S.A., cover 44% of greenhouse gases emission. China and USA have a meeting at Beijing to talk about reducing the gas being emitted. US president Obama set a goal for them that they’ll reduce the level of gases to 26 to 28% by 2025. China did agree to reduce the level of gas, but they didn’t set a specific goal for them. It is good that they are thinking about reducing the level of gas being emitted, but i'm afraid that they’re not just saying with no action of improving it. Because reducing the  level of gas is going to hurt their economies and production, they have to think of another way to produce energy.
