We live in Thailand. A country where water shortages are not obvious. When you walk into a 7-eleven anywhere in thailand, there are rows and rows of bottled water in the fridge. We don’t see the problem because we are lead to believe that there is an abundance of water. After doing research on water shortages, I found out how scarce water is around the world. People are traveling miles to get water to drink. Most of the water they get is not clean also.
We can make a difference by simpling caring more about water. Maybe the government should increase the cost of bottled water to raise awareness. People will think about the water that they use. They will be more careful and more conservative with their water usage.
